Position: Sales Development Representative (m/f/d)

Location: Bochum, Germany

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority. Use established criteria to determine if a lead is a good fit for further engagement
  • Explore New Verticals: Proactively explore and identify potential interest in solutions within other verticals outside of oil and gas, such as manufacturing
  • Meetings/Product Demonstrations: Schedule and conduct product demonstrations with key decision-makers or influencers. Properly document meetings in the CRM and ensure alignment with sales strategies
  • Revenue Contribution: Convert qualified leads into closed opportunities and document successful deals in the CRM
  • New Vertical Exploration: Identify and qualify leads in at least two new verticals annually

Skills Required

  • Language Proficiency: Good written and spoken English and German (level C1)
  • Outreach Tools: Familiar with outreach tools such as CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation tools
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and rapport with potential clients
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse leads and identify potential opportunities based on their needs and budget
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of software and IT solutions, preferably in the NDT or related industries

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales development or a similar role, preferably in the software or technology sector. (Experience with Oil and Gas industry is an advantage)
  • Good understanding of NDT processes and Oil and Gas industries is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
